So anyone out there want to chat dreams??? Happy to help you interpret any, but pls read all of below first.... :) JacquiK
Hi everyone, seems like my Aug quarterly blog has become a Sept one... I can’t get over how rapidly this year has passed so far.... OK so let’s talk dreams shall we... Who gets weird and wonderful dreams? Who has a feeling there is more to dreaming? Dreams can be a bit of an enigma... they can be symbolic (ie psychological, healing) and prophetic (ie actual). I have many theories on each but today lets look at how do you determine what is what? Well knowing some symbology helps. Start with dream books and google searches and see how you make sense of the suggestions they hold. The thing with prophetic dreams, If you have had a few you know their prophetic evidence will occur and usually quite quickly. There are levels to prophetic dreams. Some overt and external, others more subjective and obscure. I have found when it is a prophetic dream U WILL JUST KNOW. These dreams are somehow different to most... almost real or felt clearer (like a vision versus a dream). Same goes for clear astral projections (OBE) within dream state, which most of us do naturally, but some recall clearer. I find many of mine are dejav-ish, rather than external prophetic and find myself months down the track trying to recall the entire dream as it unfolds in my life (dream journals can be helpful for moments like these). For the most part we dream in the psychological and subconscious healing realms, stimulated by our environment and inner pathways, seeking to figure out life problems, and we use dreams as our rehearsal studio or brainstorming board. Many times our awareness is not on our subconscious programming, so dreams tend to be weird or not meaning much... but most hold meaning if we explore it further... When looking for answers to dream meanings, what I educate in my psychic development classes/courses, is how does the dream make you feel? There is nothing logical or linear about dreams... so working backward ie feeling first, then traceable events in your life or pre bed practice will usually help you in deciphering dreams. For example I recently had a horrific and pretty brutal dream, but my feelings within it upon waking were that of calm and objectivity. I had to ponder as to why I would feel this about a yukky and graphic dream which involved me in the role as “victim”??? So I explored it. Firstly, what did the feeling mean to me: the fact I felt calm, meant nothing to worry about, universe has it in hand. Secondly I broke it down to my role as victim in the dream whereby I was being forced into a situation. So I asked myself where else in my life did I feel forced into a situation?... and there came an answer for me. I have been house renovating and felt unfairly done by with a couple of trade quotes, which were for a service I had no expertise in but needed. Hence why I felt “victim” to circumstance and necessity as it were. So I combined my subconscious feelings of powerlessness, unfairness, victim, gifted to me brutally in my dream to show it’s importance (else I would have overlooked it) with my actual feelings of calm and objectiveness, to see my dream addressing my undercurrent feelings of inadequacy in this role with the understanding Spirit or the Universe is handling it for me – natural learning and justice, which in short time became more apparent to me. So here’s the sharing part... feel free to comment on the blog with your own dream experiences or FB me if you need a hand in interpreting any you have. Meantime try to apply the working backwards dream analysis I’ve created for you above. A note that sleep deprivation can hinder dreams, heavy foods, books, TV etc and alcohol can affect them, as can pre sleep thoughts. I learned the hard way with nightmares each Wed for a while that I simply could not watch the show MEDIUM any longer. So be mindful, and yet playful and open in exploring your dreams. May you find them as amazing as I have! Sweet dreams! xoJK
